Working with State and Federal Agencies
OCRA - As a Certified OCRA Grant Administrator, GSC works directly with various state and federal funding agencies, including the Indiana Office of Coummunity & Rural Affairs to assist communities and nonprofits with grant administration and consulting services. Through federal funding requests, OCRA improves the quality of life, and ensures health and safety for Indiana residents. This funding helps communities with a variety of projects including public facilities (Community Centers, etc.) water infrastructure (drinking or wastewater), blight clearance (delapidated buildings, etc.), Mainstreet revitalization and many others.
USDA - From investing in infrastructure to water and waste treatment systems and community facilities (hospitals, libraries, etc.), USDA Rural Development assists rural Indianians and helps to spur rural economic development for small businesses and entrepreneurs, as well as expand or improve industry, and supporting programs such as renewable systems for agriculture and industry.
