Hi, I’m Tara Damin, founder of GrantSmith Consulting, LLC. I started this company because I saw a real need, especially in rural areas, for guidance through the often confusing and overwhelming world of grant funding.

Many great projects go unfunded simply because people aren’t familiar with the criteria or processes of funding agencies, and I wanted to change that. For over 12 years, I’ve helped individuals, municipalities, nonprofits, and other organizations secure nearly $11 million in funding grant writing, administration, and strategic planning. GrantSmith specializes in local, state, federal, and philanthropic funding programs. 

It all starts with listening. I take the time to fully understand your goals, needs, and vision, and then help craft a clear, compelling story that speaks to funders. In addition to grant writing, I also offer grant research, planning assistance, and proposal editing services.
