CreatINg Places Matches the Town of Troy Crowdfunding Campaign with $25,000
The Town of Troy applied to the Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority’s (IHCDA) CreatINg Places program last year. The application was approved to move forward in its crowdfunding campaign, which raised over $25,000. Since Troy met their goal, the town received a 1:1 match of $25,000 from the IHCDA, which will be used toward new ADA-compliant playground equipment, consisting of swings, a multi-functional play with climbing and slides, and bench seating for visitors. The new playground equipment will provide a safe, accessible, and a vibrant space for residents and visitors to gather and play for decades to come.
The Town of Troy was recently presented with a check for $15,000 from the Perry County Community Foundation through its Community Goods Grant Program. The grant was administered by GSC.
